The specifics of the Indian timekeeping system. Nakshatra based, designed to allow us to commune directly with the gods. The ancient timekeeping system was a celestial sky map of time, not local space. Summoning the gods from their Celestial realm, into our physical realm was the point. I will discuss these things in great detail.
The universal principles of life, not only to Indian astrology, yoga – but also to other cultures and systems. Again, this is revolutionary teaching and shows the simple but profound science of karma and awakening.
The seven visible planets as the specific agents of our karma. What does each one give us and bring and how can we maximize our relationship with those divine forces.

The lunar nodes as your unconscious karma eclipsing your mind. These forces send us into a deep acceleration, but may also plunge us into a deep darkness. But there is nothing but light on the other side if you understand.
The Nakshatra portions in the sky. These are the fundamental building blocks of Vedic thought and culture. It is the lens through which our karma is focused. I will give you several deep structures that allow you to organize the Nakshatra scheme in a few ways you may not have thought of before.
Combustion, retrograde and other "spatial" considerations. The proximity of planets to the earth, and their speeds are extremely important to understand. Not only will we explain combustion and retrograde astronomically, but you will understand exactly how to interpret both of these singularities in planetary motion.
Planetary communication through aspects. The planetary forces interact with each other through aspect and conjunction. The special aspects in Vedic astrology are highly significant and unique. You have to know the difference between a one-way aspect, a mutual aspect and a Rashi aspect. These concepts show some of the most fixed and entrenched karma's and things that are "fated" to happen.
Yogas and planetary associations determine much of the greatness and difficulty we face in life. In particular Raja Yogas are important, as are other planetary connections. We will explore several of the most prominent yogas to scan the chart for. Knowing how to identify Yogas and tell when they are activated is crucial to practicing astrology at a high level.
The dignity of planets show how much intelligence is operating on a baseline level. It shows an ease or stress that flows naturally from any given planet in a chart. It's crucial to understand the calculations and interpretations.

Harmonic charts show the special areas of life that come into focus when we need to evaluate them. But there's a deeper methodology to using harmonic charts in conjunction with the Rashi chart. Hardly any astrologers are doing this correctly, neither are the students. This approach and technique is revolutionary.
There are several special indicators that you must always look for in specific charts. I will break down these indicators. They include hemming, exchanges, exact degrees, planets changing signs, and other modifications. Identifying them is not the point. Interpretation is key. I will show you how to interpret these indicators.
4 Karakas show us how to evaluate any area of life. This is so important because relationships, career, health, children are all very nuanced. I will explain these indicators and how to use them and also how to delineate their meaning so you don't get stuck with the typical question "what happens when one indicator contradicts another one".
The sevenfold planetary evaluation system called Shad Bala is a comprehensive system of assessing the potential of any planet. It's remarkably comprehensive, but also quite dense. I will go over the different qualities of Shad bala and how it fits into an overall evaluation.
Vimshopaka is a great system of planetary evaluation through different harmonic charts. It gives an overall, aggregate score which shows the potential of a planet to be generally supportive in many areas of life. It's important for physical health, relational and career health as well as many other things. It is very underutilized.

Avasthas show another type of planetary evaluation that is much more specific. There are five Avasthas that offer deeper psychological and spiritual tools. Find out if your planets are in an "infant" stage. See if they are "rejoicing" or feeling "alarmed". Are they "awake" or "unconscious".
Evaluating planetary transits, in the sky, is one of the most important skills an astrologer can have. As the platnets move and interact with the natal chart very specific things happen. Coordinated with the dasas offers a complete predictive model.
Karmas ripening according to specific rules. I've been using these rules for more than 15 years and they are deadly accurate. This alone could completely revolutionize the accuracy of your astrological predictions. The method is not even that complicated, it is a simple formula that could revolutionize your entire astrology practice.
The Parashari System of astrology is what most people are using, whether they know it or not. I will give an overview of the system and its features. The simple elegance of this type of astrology has sustained for thousands of years and is easily the most accurate system and form of astrology the world has ever seen.
The Jaimini form of astrology is a very streamlined, predictive system that is based on several calculations and principles that offer deep insight. When integrated with the Parashari methods, and other universal principles, amazing predictions are possible.

The Tajika System of astrology is a hybrid approach that was developed between Indians and Persians in the Middle Ages. It is incredible and remarkable to see how what became Western astrology methods were joined with the Indian zodiac and energetics to create this unique astrological approach.
Varshaphal means “fruit of the year”. It shows how to read an annual chart, and know what will be unfolding month by month. It is based on the same / similar energetics as Tajika. But there are different, unique features that are fascinating to explore.
Prashna is also a unique way of doing "predictive astrology", where we draw chart for the moment a question is asked. This is also based on the same principles as the Tajika System. Knowing how to organize these systems is key.
Priority and Sequence is the most important part of doing astrology readings. There are so many things that you can take into account. But exactly what you say, and when? And how do you not get lost and stuck in all the details? This is what makes for a great astrologer.
Studying Astrology is perhaps the best use of this knowledge. The ancient Rishi Parashara clearly indicated that it's something people should study and understand, not just rely on as a counseling tool. You are meant to understand the universe and your place in it. Vedic astrology is the science given to us by the Rishi's to teach us.
Teaching Astrology in the next level of learning Vedic astrology. I'm currently training astrologers and astrology teachers. I've been training and teaching them for years. It's something you can also learn and teach others.
